My first introduction to computers was an advanced-study math course in 1977 where I learned binary, octal, and hexadecimal number systems as well as basic (and/or/not) Boolean logic. My first programming exercise involved creating punch cards. I think my first program was simple addition like “3+4=7” or something like that. Yep, I’m old as dirt in the Tech field! LOL
