Is it possible to connect apps made in Thunkable to real world devices to control things through the app?

For example if I wanted an app to control smart LED lights over wifi, or an app to control a garage door opener, or a smart lock/deadbolt…

I would be surprised if this could not be done through Thunkable, but perhaps there’s caveats of doing all this that I’m unaware of.

Building apps with the ability to control a real world apparatus has been a long time goal of mine.

Thanks again guys

Arduino now comes with Firebase kit which you can use to control the switches/lamps by using the Firebase nodes instead of BLE.

I’m seeing a lot about the nodeMCU, seems to have the functionality of an arduino but has the wifi capability?

Is this generally the difference?
