# What is the update for Maps Markers?

What is the update for changing google map marker colors? Am I just going to have to continue to use a webview and write it as json or are we actually going to get a functional maps function?

Instead of or with markers, you can use multicolored polygons

I too need coloured markers.

I don’t see multicolored polygons as an alternative - that is just plain horrid

As a temporary solution, you can use single-color markers together with a color polygon.
