# Updating an existing app on Google play

Hello Thunkers,  
How can I update an existing app on Google play made on Thunkable classic by adding a new version made on Thunkable Cross?

Hi there!  
Play Store only needs the package name to be the same for an update.  
Edit yr Package name on Thunkable Cross similar to Classic :

I don’t think this is possible.

Refer the Troubleshooting section at [https://docs.thunkable.com/publish-to-play-store-android](https://docs.thunkable.com/publish-to-play-store-android), “Apps originally built on the Thunkable Classic platform cannot be updated since it is not yet possible to import the keystore”

Thaaaaaaaaank you soooooooo much!  
My app on Thunkable classic has more than 10,000 downloads and I want to move it to T.Cross so this is the best news I heard.  
Please Mark would you inform us when you add this feature to Thunkable Cross?
