# Translator problem

Hello basically I am having this problem when making a translator, I get Invalid parameter: lang. It is only when I change the option from English to another language. I send a photo of my code

Hi @juansg1m, welcome to Thunkable!

It works for me if I use your code and “it” for the source language and “en” for the target language:

Hello,  
Yes it also works for me in that way, but when I change the language, from it to es(Spanish) the program crashes and say: Invalid parameter long

There is a problem with these blocks (for both source and target):

You’re getting the **Language** column from the database when you should be getting the **Code** column.
