# Timer Use so difficult to use?

hi

before using the timer to update a data viewer i try to increment a text area with the timer and i don’t see why the blocks i use don’t work

Can you show the blocks?

It will be very difficult to guess the problem in your blocks without seeing it.

What is the initial value of `label info`?

Increase the interval to 100 milliseconds at least.

the initial value of info is 0  
i replace 10 by 100 milliseconds and nothing happens

How are you testing it?

Do not test using `Preview button`.

Test it from your mobile device.
