# Thunkable X: Got the message "Internal error generating code. Please notify Thunkable support"

I got the mentioned message using Thunkable X. I cannot add a marker to a map. What can I do about that?

Hello Michael,

It seems the same issue as this one:

It seems it will be fixed in next release. In the meantime, I’d suggest you to wrap your marker code in a function and then use the function variables to pass the value.

ok thanx. I put the “addMarker” inside a function, and now it works!

Hi, I am making a Chat App and I got an “Internal error generating code for blocks”. This is the first time I have gotten this message and Thunkable send to the support, so guys please fix this problem or at least let me know what it is. Hope I get a reply by today.
