# Thunkable + Airtable update cell

Hi guys

I tried many different things to update a cell value. I want to add + 1 to the cell value but it doesn’t work. Can someone help me?

What do you mean when you say **it doesn’t work**?

Why are you using a **logical expression** in the place of **columnName**?

I tried it now like this but it doesn’t add to the cell value

I don’t see any way that this code can work.

Start simple and clear.  
Set the cell using specific **row number** and **column name** and see if the value is reflected in the table.

Now, you are using **number of not connected variables** which will just complicate the way you test your code.
