# TextInput with underscore?

When I test my apps on IOS and Android, I notice that there is allways a sort of underscore (line at bottom of field) on the Android device (not on IOS).  
How could I avoid that?

On the Advanced tab of the input fields set the underlineColorAndroid property to a transparent color.

Thank you so much. I struggled with this for over a week when I finally used the correct search terms and found this post. This should probably be changed to the default setting because I can’t think of a reason most people would want this underline.
