# Text to Speech not working... on smart glasses

I recently got a small app working (thanks to a lot of help from people here!) which converts a voice recording to text using OpenAI’s Whisper and then runs that text as a GPT-3 query. I’ve now deployed the APK for this app to my Realwear smart glasses and in principle it works! The only bit which isn’t working is the text-speech part at the very end. On the phone it reads out the response from GPT-3 on the glasses it won’t. I’ve checked permissions but can’t seem to see why it won’t work here. Any one have any bright ideas?

I love this idea! [My app](https://community.thunkable.com/t/chat-ai-image-generator-aka-synthi/2227603) is very similar but unfortunately I don’t have any smart glasses.

Sorry, I don’t have any suggestions for you as far as a fix goes.
