# Text not returning for Data Grid Viewer

Hello all,
I am trying to get the text for the item that was clicked in a data grid viewer, but nothing is being returned. To test, I added a text box, but still, nothing is filling the text box. I created a test project to see if it was my project, or more widespread, and it worked in the test app. So, I have come down to user error or project-level issues. Here are some screenshots and a screencast. I did make a new data grid viewer component to see if it was just an issue with the instance of the first one. This didn’t help. Any thoughts? Pic one is the main app, pic two is the test.

I faced a similar issue but was fixed by coping my project and working on the copy. I don’t know what caused it but I visited the original project after couple of days and it is the same so I deleted it and continuing my work on the copied one.
