# Speech Recognizer Stuck after no speech detected

Hey Guys,

I am trying to create an voice note taking app.  
When i use the Speech recognizer, it will work when i say something.  
But when there is no speech, it will go into error (sound prompt) and I could not restart it again.  
Changing the page does not work for me, only way to get it to work again is to restart the app.

I am just using the sample code that is provided in the documentation.

Do you guys know if it is a bug or is there something that i missed out?

Hey @yamikiro,

Have you tried to use the `error` block too, in case the speech recognizer does not hear anything?
