# Speech Recognition okay on IOS problem previewing and adding text to a label on android

Hi, I’m a thunkable pro customer and I’m having a problem getting speech recognition to work in preview on Adroid.

I simply want one word of text (a name ) to be added to a label after someone touches a button. I have reproduced the code exactly as depicted in the documentation and it works okay in IOS on my iPhone, but my android galaxy s7 will not perform the recognition and add the name to the specified label.

Has anyone else had this problem? What can I try to resolve this issue? Thanks!
