# \[Sovled\] How to change the color of the hint text in a textbox on click?

Hi. I’ve recently made a sign in page for my app using TextInput components.Is it possible to change the color of the hint text in a textbox on click? It will be helpful. Thanks

Hey @bowiesushio521f

You can indeed, but it’s a little tricky to find.

If you click on “Advanced” properties and then scroll down, towards the bottom you will find it next to the `SecureTextEntry` switch.

Sir, it’s not working for me I changed the hint colour but it’s still not changing when I live test it
