# \[Solved\] Set picture as background image

I can’t assign a picture from the photo component to the background or something else.

Hey @niniks - thanks for reaching out about this.

I’ve moved you question to its own topic as it wasn’t related to the previous topic.

Thanks too for sharing your sample project, it really helped.

As you can see, it seems to be working fine on v205 on Android. The component returns both a path to the image, and renders that image as the background picture for the Screen.

I wonder if this is an issue with permissions in your app by any chance?

At the moment everything is working. (on version 204)

This is very strange since “lack of rights” was my first thought and I checked the settings. I’m also pretty sure I updated to 204.

Sorry, but I can’t help you right now and thank you for your work (:  
Should I check it solved in this case?

P.S. Updated to 205, everything works without problems.

Maybe I had an old version in my browser! Before answering you, I changed the computer on which I have never used thunkable.
