This is a test app I made to see why my variables are not behaving as expected.  
The output of the button click stays at the initialized value.

Try typing the name of the variable in there instead of using the variable block. Try just writing the name of the variable in there. “testVARs”

Hi @penny ,

There is an error in the variable name in your block. And in your first block there is an error in the name
