# \[SOLVED\] My output displays nan

Hey, I’ve been trying to make this work but to no avail.  
i tried 0 + output text but it did not work

The issue might be because inside the math block are two text inputs and not numbers.  
A workaround is to use a math block to convert it to a number. For example plus 0 or multiply by one before you use it inside the current math block.
