# \[Solved\] How to detect a text box is empty

I tried 5 different ways. All of them work on Web Preview but on my Samsung Android none work ☹

You’ll need to use the Logic blocks `true` and `false` instead of the Math blocks 1 and 0.

If 1 represented true (as it does in most programming languages), then this would display “1” in the label but it does not:

This, however, does:

🙏 🙏 So silly of me I wasted time trying all possible things and returned wrong value 😀 😅. Web preview threw me off. Thanks Tatiang I am sailing again!!
