# Simple App is very slow to open (40+seconds)

I’m trying to understand why this very simple app is opening so slowly. Any ideas?

Can you describe more about your problem. I played with it for about 1 minute and didn’t notice any major lag.
are you referring to the time it takes to first connect the Live companion app on your phone and for that to load the app you have created?
