# Share real time location

Hi, I am completely new to Thunkable.

I am trying to create an app, where:

- user clicks button and then gets access to a map with real time location of multiple other users. His own location gets displayed too.

How can I do this? chatgpt tells me to use firebase but I am a total beginner and even the blocks seem a bit complex to me.

I appreciate any help;

Hello @lolacharron.caq welcome to the community!  
You can add users on the map using [“add markers” blocks](https://docs.thunkable.com/app-design/ui-components/embed-components/map#blocks)  
The locations can be stored on [cloud variables](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/blocks/variables-overview#cloud-variables-and-data) (firebase) or on a [data source](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/app-features/data-sources-blocks)
