I’ve posted many links on this forum to projects that I plan to publish commercially. How do I protect these projects?

Change the projects from public to private on the project settings pages.

Hi @jahaan!
To Protect your Projects, you can increase the use of DBs in your Projects (DATABASES)
If you want to secure Important things like API keys, you can use Google Sheets and save API keys there as whoever remixes your project will NOT BE ABLE to Use those Keys.
Also, as @tatiang said, if you want no one to copy your project, you must shift to a PRO membership. And then shift your project to Private Mode.

and afterall Publishing of apps require pro membership if I am not wrong
so it’s better you make your projects private
