You can use the [Share Message block](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/app-features/share#share-message) to allow the user to save data to their phone.

So there is no way to automatically save very large files on mobile? The ‘share message block’ seems to only be able to save a short sentence and ask the user by which app he wants to share it …

There are some other options but I don’t know if they will suit your needs. You’re wanting the user to have access to the data as a text document? If you don’t need that, there are plenty of ways to save the data so it’s readable by Thunkable. Here are some options I came across that might be modifiable for text files:

[Files Blocks | Thunkable Docs](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/app-features/files-blocks) – allows you save a raw file format (e.g. docx) to Cloudinary or download a file to a mobile device.

> Hi, I know saving a file to the device storage is currently no possible, but do Thunkable team plan to add this functionality ? Just out of curiosity, why is this not possible ? (It seems to be a basic functionality, I can’t understand why this has not been implemented in Thunkable yet. Maybe a question of compatibility between different versions of Android, iOS and the way they manage access rights ?) Thanks in advance !
