# Request focus and hide keyboard

I have a problem where the keyboard just hides whenever I tap outside of the textbox, and I really need the hidekeyboard and requestfocus blocks to solve this!!!

Is there any way to get around this issue?

Hi there,

We do know that this is an issue for Thunkers, especially in the case where the user is meant to navigate from one Text Box to another and the keyboard closes once they click away from the first Text Box.

We are working on this issue, but there’s no particular ETA for when it will be fixed.
