# Question about forum (solved)

I just want to know, how to edit your profile description or view your profile? I’m a new user getting things set-up.

Hey there @afnanfozailcw81, here are the steps on how to edit your profile description:

1. Click your profile icon at the top right corner.

2. Click on the user icon (Marked 1 in image), and then press _ **“Preferences”** _ (Marked 2 in image)

3. Press the _ **“Profile”** _ button  

All done, that’s it.

If you want to go to your **profile page** , follow steps 1 & 2. But on 2, instead of pressing _ **“Preferences”** _, press _ **“Summary”** _.
