# Publish as as Web App Then Save to Home screen

If I publish one of my apps as a web app and send a link to someone, could they open the link in their browser and then “Add to Homescreen” on their mobile phone to kind of make a mobile app out of it?

As of today, this doesnt work appropriately AFAIK. This cauess the app layout to appear wrong. too tall in most cases.
[thunkablecompanion](https://thunkable.site/w/MWJsSRtEr) for example does look good when you view in browser but not on desktop
