# Problem with the Web block

In the old version of Thunkable we had the Web block to read a web page. How can I do the same by this version of Thunkable ?

I think you are talking about X.

If so let me know so I can change the category.

In X . you use this block as part of the Web API component

Is it possible view a tutorial on it ? I was speacking about ‘old’ thunkable.

Hi there, @Marco_Banchieri  
In Thunkable X, have two components about web.  
1.Web Viewer — You just need to put the URL there and figure out to read the webpage.  
2.Web API — This component is for detect the webpage data. Especially weather, timer…whatever.

So, if you just want to read the webpage in your App. Just to use Web Viewer be done.
