# Problem with sprite

Why can’t I drag the sprite to the stage

If you have a sprite that is not getting dragged during **live testing** then you should go to the properties of the sprite in design, and toggle the draggable switch to true. Else, if you are unable to add a sprite to your stage, then:
**1:** When you add a canvas to your app, it automatically comes with a stage and a sprite with the Thunkable icon. Duplicate the sprite to as many as you want on the stage, and change the picture list to your wanted pictures.

Thanks for your helpful answers. I was able to create more sprite into the stage by duplicate sprite as you instructed. But I don’t understand why I can’t drag the sprite to the stage after I’ve added the sprite type
