you might want to focus on extensions, which offer something new for the community…
for example what about an IMAP extension to be able to receive emails?

I don’t really agree with @Taifun’s logic here - it’s like Pepsi saying “Well Coca-Cola already made one cola drink so we’ll focus on Orange flavour instead”

There’s is nothing to stop anyone developing their own extensions, it is up to them to have a good reputation and make sure it works as well as possible.
