# Onesignal push notifications - trigger an event

Hi All,

I haven’t used onesignal before - but I have set up and trialled - just wondering if we can use onesignal to send specific notifications when an event in the app has occured, or if the data in firebase against this user has changed? or is it just available to send single campaigns?

I believe it could be utilised in this way with the OneSignal API - does anybody know how to do this?

I believe it could be done with the WEB API component - anyone know how this would work?
