I need to access a web API as part of a Thunkable app (which I have done several times).
However, OAuth is now new for me. I am looking for a simple thunkable app that uses OAuth2.
Thanks, Martin

Hi martin.carl.zimmerl8, welcome to Thunkable! 🎉

Be sure to check out [How to ask Great Questions v2.0](https://community.thunkable.com/t/how-to-ask-great-questions-v2-0/2689983/1), the [Community Guidelines](https://community.thunkable.com/t/community-guidelines/78/8), and our [Getting Started Guide](https://docs.thunkable.com/getting-started/get-started) to make the best of your Thunkable Community experience!

Unfortunately, our Web API component does not yet support OAuth 2.0.

Thank you very much for the quick reply, but I am a little surprised.
We do not use our own web API but a publicly available one:

> Developer related documentation for the Dexcom API

More and more web APIs seem to be using this authentication method.
I found the following forum post, which apparently suggests a not easy but feasible solution in Thunkable.

I’ve got an app working that runs through the entire OAuth2 process for my local grocery store’s API. It gets an authorization code using the Webviewer (with a redirect to a page with some javascript that sends back the authorization code as a Webviewer message, using this thing: [GitHub - thunkable/webviewer-extension: Comm…](https://github.com/thunkable/webviewer-extension/)

Unfortunately, the app link is not available. For us, a more complex solution would also be welcome…
