# Not able to update string when screen opens

so, when the screen opens up for the first time im able to send the timeStamp string just fine via BLE. i can do it as well if i go back and re-init the connection by restarting my ble device without closing the app. The issue is its sends the old timeStamp. it doesnt really update when the “toolScreen” opens up … i tried null too without sucess. id like to be able to retrieve the currentTime everytime even though i dont formally restart the app

After you restart your ble device, are you navigating to another screen and then coming back to the Tool Screen?

im going back with the cellphone but i havent program anything related. what i am saying is im not using a button in the app to go back
