# Newline does not work in listviewer

Is there anyway I can add new lines in the listviewer since the component does not seem to function?

So you’re wanting to skip lines in the listviewer display? I haven’t tried the newline block but if that doesn’t work (and I can see why it wouldn’t), try using a list item that contains only a space " ".

Or this more dynamic method where you don’t have to add the spaces each time.

That screenshot is really helpful because I wasn’t sure why you were using the newline block.

You just need to use a custom data viewer list and set the margin/padding to whatever you want to allow for spacing.
