# Need help with rotating image

I am making a compass but i do not know how to make the needle spin. I am trying to use a canvas but the background will never become transparent and I also do not know how to make the needle centered. Please help. I have been spending countless hours trying to fix this.

The way you do this is to create a circle with no fill and no stroke (transparent) with a line/needle pointing to the right from the center out to the outline of the circle. Then you save that as a png and import it into Thunkable so that you can rotate the whole shape (the hidden circle) as needed. I use Illustrator to create the graphics.

I don’t use the Canvas much so I don’t know why the compass is in front of the needle but hopefully you get the idea.
