# Need help with a language selection option

I am making a simple game app and now I need some help to set up a language selection option.
The app is divided in 3 or 4 screens, so far, and there are just a few buttons and labels on each screen. Some buttons and labels have dynamic text.
For example:
One of the buttons on the main screen is the one where the user can select difficulty, and the text should be “Difficulty: Choose” by default, and if they click once, the text should change to “Difficulty: Easy”, and if they click again the text should change to “Difficulty: Normal” and so on and back to “Difficulty: Choose”.
The standard language is english, but the user should be able to click on a button to show a list of available languages, and then the texts should update correctly when they choose their preferred language.
I have tried to make this work on my own in different ways, (without hard coding) but I just can’t seem to get it right. I have been able to get somewhat close to gettkng it right, but there is always something that’s not working.
Can someone help me, please?

Hi @bjorken128k3khcr,
I’ve set up multilingual apps in Thunkable before (buttons, labels, and even dynamic text like your difficulty selector). What you’re running into is totally normal - it’s tricky to get it working cleanly without duplicating a lot of blocks.

I achieved multi-language support by storing all prompts as strings in local storage. You may be able to do the same.
