# Must i use OneSignal to send Push Notification to my App or can FireBase alone do it?

Hi !!
I am implementing Push Notification but need to understand if I also need OneSignal.
If my device where i install my thunkable App is able to Register with FireBase or my API Server via Rest API, then that is all i need fo my API Server to send notifications to a specif App.
I dont need a DashBoard, Control Panel, Reports or Statistics. I just need my API Server to send push notification when certain tasks are due.

Hola, si debes vincular con onesignal para enviar las notificaciones, hay tutoriales en youtube de como hacerlo

Gracias. Me falta entender como se registra el celular cuando se instala App para entonces yo poder enviar un mensaje via push notification.
Me imagino, mi API Server debe de acceder OneSignal para obtener el “Device ID/Token” basado en el numero del cell o nombre del cell para poder enviar el mensaje. Eso no lo tengo claro.

You can Use Onesignal when you Want to Send Push Notifications to Individual Users while doing a session in your app through their Push Notification API.
