# Mp4 video does not work in ios devices

After developing a new app that contains an mp4 video, I see that if the download in android devices the video is displayed correctly, if the download via e-mail on ios does not display it. when I try it with live test the video is displayed correctly on both android and ios devices. thanks

Hi @gabriele_sicily,

It’s probably not helpful, but I’ve noticed that if I send an MP4 via WhatsApp, iOS recipients cannot view it, but Android and others can. This may reveal an issue with iOS devices more than it being a Thunkable issue, but I’m curious what others think.

As of September 2020 … mp4 for iOS still doesn’t work.  
Does anyone have a solution?
