# Map component fails to load current position - Blank screen or "null"

Hey,

those “get property…” blocks from the thunkable docs result in a blank page and application freeze:

Would be nice if somebody could tell me the actual blocks to use and update it in the documentation since there where several changes to the maps component and I can’t get it to work it would either return “null” or crash the whole app.
