# Location sensor for tracking distance

I tried the same way on the post ( ([Calculate distance traveled - #2 by manyone](https://community.thunkable.com/t/calculate-distance-travelled/565278/2))

I still get 0 for my “d” calculation because some of (w + v) are close to 1, and asin(1) is 0. Do you think it is possible to calculate the distance while I’m walking in thunkable?
