hello @pdh1982, you have to use to use stored variable here, instead of app variable, becuase the app variable can’t be reaccessed if you close the app.
To know more about how to use variables, go to - [How do I use variables in my project? | Thunkable Help Center](https://intercom.help/thunkable/en/articles/5716970-how-do-i-use-variables-in-my-project)
to know more about variables - [Variables - Thunkable Docs](https://docs.thunkable.com/variables)
If this solved your problem, then please reply or mark this issue as solved, and if not, then please send the link of your project
