# Local Push Notifications, without "One Signal"

In my app there will be some local updates, depending on the user bahaviour and time of the day. I wish to make notifications in the status bar, when my app is not opened. There is nothing to receive from the server for this notification and in particular it’s not needed to use One Signal.

So, how can I make a push notification locally?
