# Local DB isn't working

Hello, I am creating a feedback system that writes to a local DB when you submit your email and problem.

It doesn’t appear to be working, can anyone see what is wrong here?

If that’s your entire code, there’s a lot missing. You’ll need to use the [Text Input block](https://docs.thunkable.com/text-input) to receive text input from the user. And then store that result in your AddRow block or SetCell blocks.

Alert blocks display an alert with button choices. They don’t accept input.

i wrote app for you.

you can use this block but i think clear all record when you close app…  
rowcount is record number in the database  
label1 is show us record number
