# Label text component problem

Hi @thunkable

It’s not possible to set a label text to a Math block.  
Exemple:  
Not possible to do : from label 1 set text to 1 + 1  
The only way is to do it by a variable :  
set variable to 1 + 1  
and then : from label 1 set text to variable

Hi @clement_pignet,

I noticed that as well. It’s not only math blocks, but any non-text (non-string) type. Please see here:
