# Is there a way to get a specific data in a row in the data source?

To be honest, there was a post regarding this already but i did not understand ([Retreive Specific Data from Google Sheets - #11 by aikansh.dua044gefzj](https://community.thunkable.com/t/retreive-specific-data-from-google-sheets/1359900/11))

I was thinking that I could create a variable that creates an object, then gets the data source, then create variable that gets property of the row, then get property of data from the previously created variable.

Please help, thanks!

Cool! but is there a way to like specify the when item click condition? instead of clicking an item, it has a condition that clicks a specific data/item?

The “item click” term is used for Data Viewer Lists or Grids.
