# Is there a way to add delay?

Hello, I want to make an app that when it opens, there is a screen and after 2s it opens an other screen.  
I want to make it look like when you open Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or anything

Hello. You are using Thunkable Classic Platform  
.This Platform cannot make wait any times block on it or you said “delay”.If you want to do it. You must use Thunkable X Platform. This platform was new version of Thunkable. Thanks.

My solution was Thunkable X. In classic, you can use the Timer block. This is an example I have used to set a field background colour at different intervals:
