# IOS Publishing Still An Issue

In the past I have copied the original, modified the copy, made the bundle ID the same and the version incremented by 1. This has always worked but now if you load a copy with the correct bundleID and version incremented it seems to remove the users data after they update.  
Why would a copy not work as an update???
