# Interactive list with Search (DVL, clone blocks & SpaceX API)

I’m excited to share a [new example project](https://x.thunkable.com/projects/66bf4e596e8e046f70984d22/) with you! This project demonstrates two different methods for creating a list view using data from an API—in this case, [SpaceX public available API](https://docs.spacexdata.com/), which provides a list of rockets.

The first method uses the [Data Viewer component](https://docs.thunkable.com/app-design/ui-components/data-components/data-viewers), which offers a quicker and more straightforward way to build the list.

The second method involves [clone blocks](https://docs.thunkable.com/blocks/advanced-app-features/any-component-blocks#the-clone-item-block), giving you the flexibility to add interactive elements like buttons, checkboxes, and more to each item in the list.

Both methods include a search and filter functionality, allowing users to easily find specific rockets.
