# Image resize mode has no effect for buttons?

We were able to replicate the flashing issue and have flagged it to our engineering team.

Will provide an update as soon as possible.

Here are some workaround,

- You could use an [image component](https://docs.thunkable.com/app-design/ui-components/basic-components/image-1).
- Or use a Group component with a background image and add a text component inside of the group.
