# How to use translator blocks?

Hello everyone 👋  
So recently i started adding translator blocks but seem to be unable to use them, everytime i use them i get an error saying `Invalid parameter: lang` when using the corresponding language code.

Here are my blocks:

These blocks use a dropdown and then set the code from the item var e.g. da or nl.

Now the weird part is that when i use a string block with “nl” it works but when i use the item var it throws an error even tho item correspond to the right language code the string block has wich is nl.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Can you post a link to your project? It’s hard to troubleshoot without being able to preview it.

The problem might be the space before “da”:
