# How to remove number from app variable text

I’m looking to move text from one screen to the next. I’m currently storing it as an app variable on the 1st screen (via variable “change by” text input’s text - for some reason “set to” didn’t work), and displaying it in a label on the 2nd screen. When I display it though it shows a “0” before the text I have stored. Is there a more optimal way to do this or a way to remove the “0”?

Thanks for the help. Also appreciate any advice on how to search better or troubleshoot better on my own.

Post a screenshot of your blocks. This sounds easy to fix but a little hard to understand how you’ve set it up and then explain from just your description.
