# How to get consistent blank lines on screen and printer?

I am printing to a BLE printer and trying to have multiple blank lines between text. On the screen there is no blank line between “hello” and “This is a test” but it appears on the printout while on the screen the multiple blank lines appear between “This is line 3” and End but not on the printout.

How can I get consistent blank lines both on screen and on the printer?

What is the specific device you are using here? Is there anything about formatting in their docs?
